Variety description: This old tomato variety is one of the medium-late varieties. It does not produce too many tomatoes, but it does produce very large and aromatic fruits. The weight of each individual tomato is between 350 and 600 grams. They are firm and have a full aroma. The fruits are wonderful to fill or use in salads. They are also ideal for straining.

Cultivation and care: The seeds for tomatoes can be sown from the beginning of January to the end of May. At 20° - 25°C, the seeds germinate after 5 - 14 days.

For faster germination, you can pre-soak the seeds overnight in a damp cloth. Always pre-grow on the windowsill or in the greenhouse until mid-March. The tomato plants can only be put outside after the frost.

Care: The cultivation temperature is 18° - 20°C and should not be below 14°C at night. Loose, humus-rich and moist soil is suitable. Good, uniform soil is sufficient. Sunny and wind-protected locations are ideal for rapid and healthy growth.
