Variety description: The Bangkok F1 variety ripens green after about 75 days and red after about 95 days. Its small, narrow fruits are 7-8 cm long and are fiery hot.

The plant forms a strong, upright growth and is robust. The Scoville heat rating is between 15 and 30,000.

The water used for watering should not be colder than 14° C.

Use: Thai Chili Bangkok is an integral part of Southeast Asian cuisine and both the green and red fruits can be used fresh or dried. They can also be processed into chili flakes. This chili is also standard in Chinese cuisine.

The germination rate is around 92% and only decreases very slowly.
