Variety description: The "Green Zebra" variety, also known as the green cocktail tomato, is a low-growing stake tomato with smaller (approx. 3-5 cm), very aromatic and sweet fruits. These weigh around 20-40 grams and can be harvested after 65 - 70 days.

It is particularly original to make your own green ketchup. This tastes excellent, by the way. The Green Zebra is native to Ecuador and Peru.

Cultivation and care: The seeds for tomatoes can be sown from the beginning of January to the end of May. At 20° - 25°C, the seeds germinate after 5 - 14 days.

For faster germination, you can pre-soak the seeds overnight in a damp cloth. Always pre-grow on the windowsill or in the greenhouse until mid-March. The tomato plants can only be put outside after the frost.

Care: The cultivation temperature is 18° - 20°C and should not be below 14°C at night. Loose, humus-rich and moist soil is suitable. Good, uniform soil is sufficient. Sunny and wind-protected locations are ideal for rapid and healthy growth.
