Luxmeter VDL

High precision and easy to use digital luxometer. It has a large LCD screen. Although this luxometer is a high precision instrument, its construction in high quality materials will provide the user many years of use. The VDL luxometer has one of the hiGHEst levels of relative sensitivity, which gives it an extraordinary detection capacity of wavelengths from less than 500 nm to above 650 nm.

The cable that connects the luxometer to the pHoto-sensor allows the user to make measurements in a more comfortable position or in the optimal position with respect to the light source. The sensor has an opaque cover that prevents the entry of dirt or that can be scratched and still allow an adequate calibration. Ranges: from 0 to 200,000 lux in 4 ranges.

The luxometer is a reference instrument that tells us when to change the cultivation lamps. The user must make a measurement when starting cultivation, for example 30 minutes after starting the equipment and 30 centimeters away and always in the same position and angle. This reading will have gradually decrease in successive crops and the grower will have to change the lamp when the reading goes down 10 or 15% with respect to the initial reading.
